Casey Kasem's "American Top 40" spawned a Canadian version.
Canadian Top 40 was launched by Kaleido-Sound in 1973. It was hosted by Michael Morgan, a Vancouver voice talent who has appeared on CKLG, CKVN, CFUN and CKST Vancouver. His radio resume also includes CJCA Edmonton, CKPG Prince George, B.C., CJME Regina and CKGM Montreal.
