"When the music stops at KDWB, that's news"

Nicknamed "Hookshot", Peter Huntington May was a Twin Cities legend, jocking at both Minneapolis Top 40 legendary stations WDGY and KDWB during the '60s.

He would later appear at WCCO-FM in Minneapolis and was also general manager at KSTP St. Paul. Huntington also owned and did morning drive at KBXT Duluth, Minnesota.

This talented radio person cast a wide net, appearing on major stations like KEWB Oakland, California, KISN Portland, Oregon, KCBQ San Diego and KIXK Tucson, Arizona. His resume also includes stations Miami, Omaha, Honolulu and Puerto Rico.

He also managed August Records and garage/psych band Stillroven whose album "Money Music" is a favourite of that genre.

Peter May Huntington died in 2019 at the age of 80.
