ROCKIN ROBIN'S EARLY '60s RADIO PHOTOS

It's a window into radio's past.

In the early '60s, a young fellow who would later be known to southern Ontario radio listeners as Rockin' Robin visited several Toronto-area stations. Thankfully, he also brought his camera! Robin took a few pictures of these studios and the folks inside them and has graciously agreed to share them with us.

Featured stations are CKEY, CHFI, CKFH in Toronto and CHWO Oakville, Ont. It's a wonderful look back at a time where radio stations had turntables, tape decks, rotary phones and real-live human beings in them. Enjoy! And thanks Robin for sharing these historic photos with Rock Radio Scrapbook.
