The Bay City Rollers are topping the charts and the newscasts in this aircheck from the spring of '76.

The Edinburgh, Scotland group were all the rage at the time - some called them the biggest group since the Beatles - thanks to a series of hits including the number-one smash Saturday Night. But their popularity waned quickly and by 1977 Rollermania was over, another musical fad that came and went in a flash.

This aircheck showcases the great talents of future TSN newscaster Jim Van Horne and newsman Dave Taylor. Enjoy!
