Louisville-born J.J. Wright made his fame and fortune about 1,000 miles to the east.

Wright began a 40-year career in Boston radio at WRKO in 1973, moving briefly to WBOS then to KISS 108. He jocked at KISS for nearly 20 years before heading to WROR. Wright did afternoon drive on WODS before retiring from full-time radio in 2012. He now runs his own voice-over and production studio from his in-home digital production studio. Look him up!

Wright was named to the Massachusetts Radio Hall of Fame in 2015.
