Jack Lacy started in radio playing '78s. He finished just as CD's were starting to come in.

The Hartford-area native jocked at WINS from the late '40s to 1965, when the New York station switched to an all-news format.

After WINS, Lacy was heard on WBAL Baltimore and KIQQ Los Angeles (1981-85). He later moved to Spain with his daughter, when he died June 9, 1996 at the age of 79. His wife - Agnes Code Lacy, a WINS personality in her own right who would occasionally fill in for her husband, died just four months before.

Lacy was in the Army during World War II and was an English teacher before going into radio.
