John Rode may have been the smartest guy in the history of Top 40 radio. He is a member of Mensa International, a group whose members have a higher IQ than 98 per cent of the population.

Rode put that intelligence to use with one of the cleverest wits in radio. The Wisconsin native entertained at five different Toronto stations, numerous outlets south of the border and even did  stints in Vancouver and Alaska. But he's most identified with 1050 CHUM.
