Talent: GERRY FORBES & GREGG LEE

If you blinked you missed it.

For three years - from 1986 to 1989 - CHUM had a format called "Favourites of Yesterday and Today" that bridged the gap between its hit parade and oldies eras.

The format - a mixture of contemporary tunes and oldies - was introduced in the wake of CHUM ending its hit parade format after 29 years in June 1986. It ended on Labour Day weekend 1989 with the transition to full-time oldies.

This aircheck showcases the talents not only of jocks Gerry Forbes and Gregg Lee, but also newsman Paul Cross and traffic specialist Mary Garafalo.
